The Glenrothes’ Soleo 25-Year Old Rolls Out In U.S.

The Glenrothes, Speyside Scotch whisky, revamped its single malt offering and launched the Soleo Collection. The initial offering included a 10 Year Old, 12 Year Old, Whisky Maker’s Cut and 18 Year Old.  

More recently the distillery’s award winning 25 Year Old whisky, the most mature expression in the collection, arrived to the U.S. Market.

The 25 Year Old is matured in a high proportion of first fill sherry seasoned oak casks and bottled at 100% natural color. The whisky delivers a character defined by salted caramel, mango and coriander seeds. Notably, the 25 Year Old was awarded the Chairman’s Trophy with a score of 97 at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

This is expression is packaged in a premium wooden box, has a suggested retail price of $500 USD.
