Bar Convent Brooklyn 2019, A Year Of Discovery

Bar Convent Brooklyn reconvened for its second year with over 300 brands showcasing their history and innovation through unique experiences to thousands of bar and beverage industry professionals in Brooklyn recently. The two day event explored a range of panels to choose from, Bar Convent Brooklyn was bigger, boozier, and curated to feature primarily premium craft spirit brands. Cherry Heering celebrated over 200 years of history while Rutte Distillery launched its new premium Genever, Paradyswyn Genever.  

Paradyswyn meaning ‘Paradise” in Dutch, is based on a historical recipe with a contemporary makeover. Paradyswyn is based on 100% malt genever that has been gently matured in American oak barrels for four to eight years.
