Cocktail Solutions For Post Paddy’s Day Hangovers

St. Paddy’s Day is a big seller for the alcohol industry at both the on- and off-premise level. But what of Monday, March 18th? Well, that’s national hangover day, representing an opportunity to take care of your well-spent customers. How about a Recovery Cocktail Menu to reel in some business, and upsell the usual hair-of-the-dog solutions. Here are three recipes to offer hungover regulars: one with alcohol, and two without.



  • 2 oz. Health-Ade Jalapeño Cucumber & Kiwi
  • 1.5 oz. Don Julio Reposado
  • 3 diced strawberries
  • 0.5 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.25 oz. agave nectar
  • Garnish with strawberry and kiwi

3 Steps:

  1. Muddle strawberries with the agave nectar and lime in a shaker
  2. Add ice and Don Julio Reposado to the shaker and mix
  3. Serve in a Collins glass over ice and top off with Health Ade Jalapeño Cucumber & Kiwi



  • 4 ounces Health-Ade Jalapeño Kiwi Cucumber
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 ounces coconut water
  • Jalapeño, sliced and seeded
  • Small cucumber, sliced thin
  • Zest of 2 limes
  • Sea salt

4 Steps:

  1. Combine chilled Health-Ade Jalapeño Kiwi Cucumber, lime juice and coconut water
  2. Run a lime wedge around the top of a margarita glass. Combine salt and lime zest. Coat the rim of the glass in the salt mixture
  3. Pour drink over the ice-filled glass.
  4. Garnish with ribbons of cucumber and jalapeño slices.



  • Kiwi peeled
  • 3/4 cup of lime juice
  • 1 cup of jalapeño-kiwi-cucumber Health-Ade kombucha
  • 2 generous handfuls of ice
  • 1 small slice of jalapeño

5 Steps:

  1. Peel and slice your kiwi into chunks and put into your blender
  2. Juice your limes (4-5 limes), and pour into your blender
  3. Pour kombucha into blender and add ice
  4. Slice jalapeño and blend all ingredients until smooth
  5. Drink while cold and garnish with kiwi
