Founders Brewing Co. has announced that Más Agave will be the third release in the brewery’s Barrel-Aged Series. An imperial lime gose-style ale brewed with agave and aged in tequila barrels, Más Agave is the first tequila barrel-aged beer Founders has bottled. Más Agave (10% ABV) will be available in all markets beginning in early May in 4-packs (12oz bottles) and 750mL bottles. It will be available in both the Detroit and Grand Rapids taproom locations on May 3.

New Belgium Brewing and Knob Creek Bourbon have banded together to launch Oakspire Bourbon Barrel Ale, creating an entirely new style of bourbon barrel ale. Cascade Brewing recently released its Kriek 2017 project on draft and in a new 500ml bottle format. The product is a blend of sour red ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 17 months with more than 16,000 lbs. of fresh Bing and sour pie cherries. The beer features complex flavors of cherries, roast malts, oak and spice, and comes in at 7.7 percent ABV.

Today, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company launched its newest limited release 16 oz can: Juicy Gossip IPA. It’s an exploration in fruity hop flavors including Citra, Mosaic, and Denali hops with a tropical yeast blend and wheat malts. This combination creates a slightly sweet maltiness followed by a blast of hops-provided tropical fruit, red berries, and orange flavors. The flavor rounds out with a dry, slightly citrus finish.
