Three Dots & A Dash

The Limbo, downtown Louisville’s first tiki bar, reinvents this common tiki cocktail with Kentucky’s finest bourbon.

Ingredients:

2 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
¼ oz. St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
¼ oz. The Bitter Truth Golden Falernum
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
½ oz. Honey
Garnish: Blueberries, Candied Ginger, Pineapple Wedge

Method: Add all ingredients into a blender with ice and flash-blend; pour into a Tiki mug over crushed ice; garnish with three blueberries and a candied ginger slice, skewered and a pineapple wedge; serve with a straw.

Summer Crush

A unique take on the shore town classic. Coopers’ Craft 82.2 is the perfect substitute for vodka in this beach cocktail.

Ingredients:

1 Navel Orange freshly juiced
2 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
1 oz. Grand Marnier (or another orange liqueur)
3 to 4 oz. Lemon-Lime Soda (OR seltzer for a lower calorie version)
Orange wedges for garnish
Sprig of fresh mint

Method: Fill a glass with crushed ice. Pour the bourbon, Grand Marnier and fresh orange juice in the glass. Give it a gentle stir. Top it off with the soda, and orange wedge and a few mint leaves. Serve!

Coopers’ Vacation

Fitz Bailey’s spin on the nineties cocktail, the Cosmopolitan, made famous by Sex and the City.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
1 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup

Method: Stir with ice, strain, and serve in ice-filled glass. Garnish with lime wheel.

Pink Sky

The perfect summer sipper with bourbon or without. This cocktail or large batch punch can by made alcoholic or nonalcoholic for all of your summer soirees — think Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th and Labor Day.

Ingredients:
1 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
4 oz. Pink Lemonade
3 dash Lemon Bitters

Method: Combine Coopers’ Craft Bourbon, pink lemonade and bitters over ice. Serve in highball glass. Garnish with lemon.

Pink Sky Punch

Ingredients:
3 cups Pink Lemonade
1 cup Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
1 bottle of Korbel Champagne

Method: Combine Coopers’ Craft and lemonade in your favorite punch bowl. Serve in highball glasses filled with ice and top with Korbel Champagne. Garnish with lemon rind.

The greek yogurt in this cocktail adds a tang and a creaminess without the heaviness of heavy cream or half and half, making it the perfect summer alternative for a citrus-forward tipple.

Ingredients:

2 parts Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
2 spoons of Greek yogurt
3 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
1 part Simple Syrup
Serve in coupe glas

Method: Combine simple syrup, yogurt, bitters and Coopers’ Craft into an ice filled shaker. Shake aggressively, strain into glass. Skewered walnut for garnish.

Visions of Spring

Inspired by Sundays at Fitz Bailey’s Meemaw’s house, Visions of Spring boasts fresh pressed carrot juice, an underused ingredient packed with nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants. Served with tiki bitters and pineapple simple syrup this carrot cocktail is the perfect summer sipper.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
1 oz. Fresh Pressed Carrot Juice
1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/4 oz. Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Pineapple Simple Syrup
2-4 dashes Ginger Juice
2-4 dashes Tiki Bitters (Bittermens or Bartender’s Choice)

Method: Combine all ingredients in a shake tin with ice and shake. Fine strain up into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with edible flowers.

Blue Grass Coffee

From Mother’s Day to a recovery brunch, this Kentucky-inspired coffee cocktail is the perfect pick-me-up this summer.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
4 oz. Cold Coffee
½ oz. Cream
1 Egg White
1 oz. Simple Syrup

Method: Combine Coopers’ Craft Bourbon, coffee, cream, egg white and simple syrup in a shaker and shake for 30-60 seconds. Add ice and repeat shaking. Pour into your favorited chilled mug or short highball, garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.

Mocktail Pink Sky (Frolic in the Grove)

4 oz Pink Lemonade
Top with Sparkling White Grape Juice

Method: Fill your favorite highball glass with ice, pour in pink lemonade and top with sparkling white grape juice. Garnish with lemon wheel.
